Amitabh Bachchan’s Grandchildren Call Team Big B, Ranbir Kapoor And Alia Bhatt ‘Gang-Gang’ – Here’s Why
A week ago, Amitabh Bachchan released a short film which was actually shot in the time of Coronavirus lockdown. However, to make this happen, the virtual director Prasoon Pandey along with Big B, Alia, Ranbir would do a conference call every night to discuss the project and seeing Senior Bachchan on call, his grandchildren gave the team the name ‘Gang-Gang'
A week ago, Amitabh Bachchan released a short film which was actually shot in the time of Coronavirus lockdown in their respective house. The short film starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra, Diljit Dosanjh, also including some regional actors like Sonalee Kulkarni, Rajnikanth, Chiranjeevi, Mammootty, Mohanlal, Prosenjit Chatterjee has also send out a powerful message of staying at home in isolation, in the times of a lockdown. And since then, everyone has been talking about this short film and showering with appreciation.
However, to make this happen, the virtual director Prasoon Pandey along with Big B along with Alia, Ranbir would do a conference call every night to discuss the project and seeing Senior Bachchan on call, his grandchildren gave them a name called as ‘Gang-Gang.’ Yes, speaking to Prasoon Pandey, he was quoted on Times Of India, “Seeing their family so engrossed in the calls, Amitji’s grandchildren started calling us the ‘Gang-Gang’ and so we named our group ‘Gang-Gang’ (laughs)”
The filmmaker also said that he was the one who came up with the idea of making a short film as he further said, “I came up with the concept the day the 21-days lockdown was announced. The first person I reached out to with this concept was Amitabh Bachchan and he loved it.”
While sharing the short film on Instagram, he captioned it as, “Family - When you see that the cause is greater than the idea you dreamt of.. there is just immense joy and gratitude for all my colleagues and friends in the making of this historic effort ! WE ARE ONE and WE SHALL OVERCOME ! Jai Hind !”
